***THIS LOT HAS BEEN WITHDRAWN*** Due to an inquiry concerning the chain of custody of the subject sneakers prior to their consignment, the item has been formally withdrawn from the auction. While the sneakers have been photo-matched to the event in question, a letter of authenticity bearing the name Jeff Schultz has come under review. Upon direct inquiry, Mr. Schultz has stated that the letter did not originate from him. As a result, we have initiated further due diligence. This action is being taken in accordance with our commitment to uphold the highest standards of authenticity, transparency, and good faith in all auction listings.

Full Disclosure: These sneakers were originally consigned to public auction by Jeff Schultz (digitally signed Letter included) the former community relations director of the Chicago Bulls who also sourced multiple photo matched Jordan NBA Finals jerseys and sneakers that have sold for millions privately and in public auction. The sneakers were sold once at Goldin Auctions and most recently at Grey Flannel Auctions. Both times the sneakers were sold before the photo match to the event was discovered. After extensive research revealed the monumental events where the sneakers were worn, the sneakers are now being reintroduced to the collecting community with an RGU Photo Match Letter of Authenticity to accompany the Bulls employee letter of provenance, a MEAR Authentic Letter of Authenticity and the original auction Letter of Authenticity from the most recent sale.

UPDATE/CORRECTION: Both sneakers are conclusively photo matched and attributed to a single game on March 22, 1995. The sneakers photo match to ALL available clear images on Getty without exception and stylistically align with ALL available officially registered and licensed online databases. Real Game Used only uses confirmed officially registered editorial image sources for photo match authentication. There are ZERO images in any officially registered and licensed online editorial image database (Getty, AP, Alamy, USA Today, etc) that do not align with the characteristics of these sneakers.

This extraordinary pair of Air Jordan X sneakers was game-worn by Michael Jordan during his historic return to the NBA in the 1994–95 season. The sneakers are attributed to Jordan’s first victory in his return to the Chicago Bulls on March 22, 1995, when the Bulls hosted the Boston Celtics. Both sneakers also display photo match points to Jordan’s March game against the Boston Celtics, which was his first win following his return where the Bulls defeated the Celtics 124-107 with Jordan scoring 27 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists, 2 steals and 1 block. Identifying features include two loose white threads above the toe box of the left sneaker, fraying near the top lace hole on the left side of the left sneaker, and consistent creasing along the inner mids and uppers of both shoes.

This pair is also exceptionally rare due to its style configuration. For the first eight games of his comeback, Jordan wore Air Jordan Xs without the number "45" embroidered on the outside ankle, as seen in this offering. That detail, combined with a verified photo match to such a historic game, makes this pair a truly elite-level collectible.

The sneakers come with authentication and provenance that include a Photo Match Letter of Authenticity from Real Game Used, a MEARS Letter of Authenticity, and a signed letter from a former Chicago Bulls executive.

Manufacturer details include Nike Air Jordan X, Size 13, White & Black colorway, with serial number 950103 PC8. Given their rarity, photo-match confirmation, and direct connection to Michael Jordan’s unforgettable return to basketball, these sneakers represent one of the most important pieces of game-worn memorabilia to ever hit the market.
