Presented are Karl Malone's sneakers from the 1998 NBA Finals. Both Apex sneakers are signed and inscribed by Malone in black sharpie. The shoes are photo matched to the final game of the epic series between the Utah Jazz and the Chicago Bulls. This is one of the most memorable NBA Finals in the history of the game as Jordan capped the moment with the game winning shot that was heard around the world. Malone averaged a domineering 25 points 10.5 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game during the series. The shoes are accompanied by letters of authenticity from JSA, Real Game Used (Photo Match), and Jamaal Anderson who acquired these shoes as a gift from Malone when he attended the NBA finals series and was seated front row at the Utah home games. The former Atlanta Falcons running back went to college at Utah University and became a fan of the Utah Jazz and friends with Malone. These sneakers are a part of one of the defining moments in Jordan's career and one of greatest moments in NBA history. Although "The Mailman" fell short in this series, he is second on the all-time scoring list above Michael Jordan and is arguably the greatest power forward of all-time.
