This stunning red alternate Los Angeles Angels jersey was worn by Mike Trout during his epic first career walk off home run! The contest featured the Angels of Anaheim versus the Tampa Bay Rays on May 15th 2014. Trout dominated the 2014 MLB season and won the first of his two MVP awards. The jersey has missing buttons from the jersey being ripped off during the game winning celebration and shows the evidence of multiple game wear with a wrinkled wash tag, puckering of the numbers and multiple loose stitching threads on the numbers and letters are visible. The jersey is signed and inscribed "14 G/U AL MVP, 5-15-14 Walk Off" on the rear "2" in black ink. “ANGELS” is arched across the chest in red, navy blue, white and silver tackle twill with the number “27” on the left chest. The collar and sleeves have a white/silver/white piping pattern each sleeve has a patch wit the right sleeve having an “A” with a halo sewn on, while the left sleeve has a sewn on “ANGELS BASEBALL 1961” circular patch. “TROUT” and his “27” are sewn directly to the back of the jersey in the same red, navy blue, white and silver pattern. The Majestic manufacturer’s tag is heat-pressed on the bottom front left tail and the MLB logo patch is sewn on the upper back neck.

The jersey is MLB authenticated (HZ 100007) and is accompanied by letters of authenticity from Anderson Authentics (game use), and JSA (autograph). The jersey has been photo matched to 24 games, 26 hits and 5 home runs and that information is documented in a 3 page LOA from Sports Investors Inc.
