Mike Schmidt had the hitting power and the defensive skills to make his way into the Hall of Fame as one of baseball's greatest third baseman. Schmidt compiled 548 career home runs, including three 40 home-run seasons, and won ten Gold Gloves playing for the Philadelphia Phillies. The three-time National League MVP was selected to 12 All-Star Games. On the inside rear collar of the jersey is the Rawlings" manufacturer's tag size "44" with washing instructions and the pants are Rawlings tag on the inside rear waist reads size "35". Attached is a "SET 1 1989" flag tag on both the jersey and the pants. Adjacent to that is a grey strip tag with the player name "SCHMIDT" embroidered in maroon on each. On the left sleeve is the official "Phillies" team logo patch sewn on. On the right sleeve the Rawlings logo is embroidered in maroon. On the left chest is the Phillies "P" logo. On the right chest and on the back is the player number "20". On the back above the number is the player name "SCHMIDT" on a grey name plate. Both the jersey and pants show solid signs of game use. The jersey is signed in black ink on the front chest and the pants are signed on the inside waist. The jersey is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from JSA.
