After becoming the first overall pick in the 2003 NBA draft, LeBron James recorded a very nice rookie season, averaging 20.9 points per game and winning the NBA Rookie of the Year award. This is his rookie season home jersey, of a career that has seen him win MVP awards and NBA championships. The jersey has “CAVALIERS” across the front with his number “23” below. The left shoulder contains the NBA logo, while the lower front tail has the “REEBOK” manufacturers tag with attached “2003-04” year and “54 2LB” size tag. This is larger than the Size 50 jerseys Lebron rookie gamers, but take note as James wore a much larger size jersey during a number of games during the 2003-04 season which is evident in a number of photos as provided. The reverse has his name “JAMES” stitched across the back with the number “23” below. All lettering is in maroon on gold tackle twill while the numbers are in black on gold tackle twill. In our opinion the jersey shows appropriate signs of use.
