Nobody knows when the NBA will be treated to another Kobe Bryant, but one thing is for sure — it will be a long time before any forgets the “no holds barred” style of play Kobe brought to 20 seasons with the Los Angeles Lakers. Presented is an Adidas [size] 54 jersey worn by Kobe as he dazzled crowds inside the Staples Center during the 2007-08 campaign. On the left chest is the official “NBA” logo embroidered and on the right chest is a 60th Anniversary patch embroidered in gold, purple, and white stitching. Across the chest reads, “LAKERS,” and the number “24” appears on both the front and on the back with“BRYANT” properly placed across the shoulders. All numbering and lettering are done in purple on white tackle twill sewn directly onto the gold-colored mesh jersey. The tail features tagging for size as well as those for “2007-2008” and “Length +4.” In our opinion this item appears to show characteristics of game use. The jersey is accompanied by a Letter of Authenticity from DC Sports Collectibles. Bryant earned regular season MVP honors during the 2007-08 campaign, playing in all 82 games and averaging 28.3 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 5.4 assists per game.

The son of former NBA player Joe Bryant, Kobe entered the NBA directly from high school and won five NBA championships with the Lakers. An 18-time All-Star, he was also a 15-time member of the All-NBA Team and 12-time member of the All-Defensive team. He led the NBA in scoring during two seasons, and ranks third on both the league's all-time regular season scoring and all-time postseason scoring lists. He holds the NBA record for the most seasons playing with one franchise for an entire career.
