Here is an official state recognition award presented to Armando Ruiz Diaz, and signed by then-Cuban President Fidel Castro with a bold signature. Castro was one of the most well-known and notorious leaders in the world. He gained power as a revolutionary, fighting beside Che Guevara, and took over as the Prime Minister of Cuba in 1959 before becoming president in 1976 — a position he held until his retirement in 2008.
