The offered road grey jersey is the last worn in the regular season by the future Hall of Famer, game 162 at Tropicana Field against the Tampa Bay Rays.
The design is timeless and instantly familiar, with a navy-on-white tackle twill "New York" in block on the chest and the last single digit of the Yankee wardrobe similarly applied to verso. Lower left front tail is tagged, "Majestic Authentic Collection" with "2011" and size "48" flap tags below. A Yankees inventory label is affixed beneath.
Rear numeral is signed by the team's Hit and Save Kings--Jeter and Mariano Rivera--with the latter adding a notation reading, "One closer to Another." Game wear is moderate but definite.
