Twenty-two members of the baseball’s defending 1955 World Series champions have signed this 1956 Brooklyn Dodgers Year Book. The signers include such luminaries as Hall of Famers Jackie Robinson, Sandy Koufax, Don Drysdale and Pee Wee Reese. The year book is accompanied by a JSA LOA. After surprising the New York Yankees (and the baseball world) by winning the 1955 Fall Classic, “Dem Bums” repeated as National League champions in 1956 — and again faced the rival Bronx Bombers. This year, however, the Yankees returned to their old form, defeating the Dodgers in seven games (including the famed perfect game by Yankees pitcher Don Larsen).
